Lose Pounds… Do Good?

 

Yes, I get that the name of this blog may inspire innuendo and snickering. Let’s just get that out of our systems now, eh?

Bigger picture, Pound It Forward is a space created to up the ante  when it comes to weight loss. Let’s say you’re ready to take that leap—be it 10 pounds or 110 pounds—and you want to make it count. Of course losing weight is an ambitious goal, but what if you could lose weight AND make the world a better place at the same time? What if your life-improvement project becomes just a liiiiittle bit bigger? Once you lose those first few pounds you’ll see just how motivating those first few steps to change can be. Maybe you’ll feel ready to inspire others. You’re making over your body… which, whether you know it or not, will change you from the inside out. It’s only natural to want to spread the love.

How you spread the love is totally up to you. Lose a pound, donate that dollar at the grocery counter for once. Lose 50 pounds, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. You may not know it yet, but you’re unstoppable. Lose pounds, do good.
